During my recent stay at the Saint Ignatius Retreat House, I was pleasantly surprised by the harmonious blend of tranquility and convenience it offers. Nestled just a 20-minute walk from the lively charms of Ljubljana, the retreat feels like a serene oasis amidst the vibrancy of the city—ideal for a weekend escape with my fiancé. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, who provided efficient check-in and effortlessly guided us through the superb amenities available, including private parking on-site and delightful free Wi-Fi. The highlight of our mornings was undoubtedly the continental breakfast, which exceeded our expectations with its thoughtful assortment. Enjoying fresh fare each day, we set off replenished for our explorations. The property boasts a beautiful garden that turned into our little sanctuary, allowing us to unwind after soaking in the city's sights. For those who appreciate a quiet moment, the on-site chapel provides an inviting space for meditation or reflection. If you’re looking for a restful retreat with character, all while enjoying quick access to the city’s attractions, I wholeheartedly recommend this delightful haven.
